Cancer Research UK have launched a SunSmart campaign to raise awareness of the dangers and to encourage stricter guidelines within the tanning industry. Indoor tanning, of course, has the advantages of allowing you to control the amount of UV light you expose yourself to and to prepare your skin beforehand so that you do not get sun burnt, particularly before going on holiday.

A very popular service provided at the salon is spray tanning, using the amber mist airbrush tanning system which lasts up to six days. It is an aloe vera based product meaning the treatment is completely risk-free. It works by the active ingredient dihydroxyacetone (DHA) reacting with amino acids in the outer layer of skin causing it to darken naturally over a 24 hour period. Even tans are assured as the product is water soluble and applied by an experienced beauty therapist using bronzers as a base colour.

Ear Piercing

Airbrush Tattoos

A new service recently introduced is airbrush temporary tattoos— just in time for the summer. There are a variety of stencils to choose from with a range of colours. The tattoos last up to a week and are easily removed with a special lotion.


Toning tables

The salon now boasts a stylish and spacious room containing two new multifunctional toning tables. These beds are proven to be effective with an average inch loss for each of the salon’s clients of 7—9 inches during the first 10 sessions, also helping with posture, mobility, flexibility and circulation.
